Bring Our Troops Home!

This is ridiculous. An anti-war group in San Francisco plans to set up a picket line at the Port of Oakland in order to disrupt the shipment of supplies to U.S. troops in Iraq. On organizer states:

We feel like the war is what’s putting their lives in danger. This is an effort to save lives by stopping the war as quickly as possible.
What bullshit. The loss of shipments will not only deprive American soldiers of essential supplies (like medical equipment), but it will keep humanitarian aid from reaching Iraqi citizens. Is this what the protesters mean by being against the war, but supporting our troops?

Update: Police battle with Oakland protesters.
