It's been awhile since I dropped in, but Armed Prophet is on hiatus and this post is really more germane to the Commentator anyway:
No one has ever accused OSPIRG of being ahead of the times or even really with the times, but it must be noted that OSPIRG has joined the 21st Century, with a blog of its own. In this case, OSPIRG refers to the Oregon State PIRG. The Oregon Student PIRG web site appears to have been taken over by the parent* group. The old student site is gone now, but if memory serves, it was stuck back in the 20th Century. Still, whether a second blog post is forthcoming remains to be seen.
*Insofar as a "parent group" can be funded entirely by its underlings, that is. In that case, I suppose the various Oregon public university PIRGs are the Culkin kids. And we know how that turned out.
